Le Diner en Blanc – our table

We went a little overboard with the flowers, crystal, and silver. But really – can you ever have too much beauty? I don’t think so!




Bianca and I decided on a simple meal of Salad Nicoise, which was perfectly lovely on a summer evening. We split up the ingredients and assembled it on our plates. Bianca made a chilled plum soup which was TO DIE FOR. Maybe if we are nice enough she will share the recipe here. It was a little nerve-wracking eating such a brilliantly-colored dish when wearing all white, but we managed to not get plum on any of us!


Bianca found these gorgeous battery-operated flower lights that looked magical as the sun went down.
