The secret to success is to be the best YOU. A timeless lesson for kids and adults alike, and the truth that Po the panda must learn in Kung Fu Panda 3.
My kids loved this film, primarily because of ALL THE CUTE PANDAS. Po travels to a secret mountain village full of pandas in order to learn how to master his chi and defeat a horrible demon yak. The panda-monium (sorry) that ensues is adorable. The movie was funny, sometimes scary, heartwarming, and visually appealing.
There is also a sweet story line about Po’s two dads, his panda birth father who reappears in the movie, and the goose father who raised him.

We got to see the movie at a special advance screening earlier in January. It was the first screening event I’d been to that streamed footage from the actual red carpet event, and there were similar screenings all over the country. While the kids kept asking when the movie would start, it was kind of fun to see the cast interviews and feel like we were part of the whole world premiere.
Here’s the trailer.
Kung Fu Panda 3 opens in theaters today. My kids give it all the thumbs up – they laughed pretty much through the whole thing, and even the adults had plenty to keep them entertained.
Enjoy the show!
We were given free admission to the advance screening, along with some goodies for the kids. No other compensation was received, and all opinions are my own.
